Firecracker Chicken Baked



This is perfect quick and simply weekend dinner! My recipe for chicken firecrackers is easy to prepare and tastes salty, sweet and spicy! Serve over rice with lots of Firecracker sauce!

* Ingredients :

° 1/2 cup hot sauce/chili (such as Frank Red Hot or Sriracha)
° 1/2 cup brown sugar or honey
° 1 tablespoon soy sauce (gluten-free and gluten-free)
° 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
° 2 cloves garlic, grated
° 1 pinch of red pepper flakes
° 1 tablespoon oil
° 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
° Salt and pepper to taste

* Directions :

Heat the hot sauce, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and chili flakes in a small saucepan until the sugar in the sauce dissolves.
Heat oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, season chicken with salt and pepper, add to skillet and simmer, about 3-5 minutes per side.
Transfer to a preheated 400°F/200°C oven and bake until chicken is cooked through, about 10-15 minutes, braising with sauce every 5 minutes.
