My friends love to make this recipe and they always run out

12 to 14 graham crackers (enough to make a baking sheet)
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups pecans, coarsely chopped in half
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven 175 degrees C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Lay out the graham crackers and place them on a baking sheet. It's okay to break these crackers to lay them out

In saucepan, melting butter on heat. Once melt, adding the brown sugar and salt. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.

Add the chopped pecans to the skillet. Bring everything to a boil. Hold for two minutes while continuing to stir.

Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Immediately pour the mixture onto the prepared baking tray. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to spread it into an even layer about 1/4 inch thick.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and brown.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the pecan crust to cool completely. When it cools, it will turn into a delicious crunchy bark.

Once it has cooled and hardened, break the pecan shell into small pieces or cut it into squares.

Store pecan shells in an airtight container at room temperature. It will stay fresh for up to a week, although it's so delicious it might not last that long!

Now is the time to bring some joy into your kitchen and share the love of Pecan Pie Bark with your loved ones. Whether you enjoy it after dinner, as a special holiday treat, or as a gift for someone special, you'll find this recipe epitomizes the warmth, nostalgia, and irresistible flavors of pecan pie. So don't hesitate any longer, take your loved ones on a culinary adventure filled with the sweet aroma of caramel and nut - they won't be able to resist this tempting delight.

Enjoy !
