The Outback Steakhouse Blooming Onion is a treat the restaurant has been offering since it opened. You can create your appetizer menu just like they do, and you won't need fancy tools to make this bloomin' onion.
I think this is one of my first imitation recipes. I remember the first time I tried this blooming onion. Onions are sliced so that they open, some will say "blossom".
The petals are shredded and the onions are sautéed and this mixture is then served with an exquisite sauce. I know you will be just as amazed as I was the first time you tried this creation.
