*ingredients

° about 2 pounds of chicken breast
° 48 ounces of chicken stock and then I added a little water
° cut carrots
° cut the celery
° Cut half a red onion
° a spoonful mince garlic
° A few handfuls of egg noodles
° 3 chicken stock cubes
° Salt and pepper to taste (I'm heavy with pepper)
° fresh parsley

I've seen discussions on here about cooking meat before putting it in the slow cooker. I don't, I just did it this time to give it a whirl. I seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper, then cut it on both sides.
I through everything in the slow cooker except for the pasta and parsley. I cooked it on low heat for about 8 hours. In 7.5 hours I shredded some chicken, chopped it up and put it in the noodles, and when the noodles were almost cooked I put in some parsley.
