Butternuts recipe



3/4 cup butter, room temperature + 1 tbsp.
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 3/4 all-purpose flour
6 ounces packaged potato chips
1 chopped American walnut
Rum glass
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of extract
1/2 chopped pecans
3 to 4 tablespoons of milk or water
direction :
1- Cream the butter with the powdered sugar and salt until light and fluffy.

2- Sift the flour and mix well.

3- Add the caramel chips and the cup of finely chopped pecans.

4- Dough one teaspoon at a time, into balls.

5- Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

6- Bake at 325°C for 15 minutes or until firm but not brown.

7-Let cool on wire racks.

8- Make a rum glaze. Mixing ingredients to smooth.

9- You can either dip  cookies in the icing or using a spoon to pour the cookies. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
