Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup softened butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.

Gradually blend in the dry ingredients, then stir in oats and chocolate chips.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them apart.

Bake for 9 minutes, or until edges turn golden brown.

Let cookies cool on the sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
