*Ingredients list:

+For meatballs:

°4 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted.

°1 tablespoon of lemon juice.

°1/4 cup granulated sugar.

°1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

°1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.

°1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed.

+To prepare the caramel sauce:

°1 cup unsalted butter.

°1 cup granulated sugar.

°1 cup packed light brown sugar.

°1 cup of water.

+To serve: vanilla ice cream (optional).


The first step

Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare it.

The second phase

Remove the cores and cut each peach in half lengthwise. Prepare a bowl to put the peach halves in. To prevent them from turning brown, add a little lemon juice.

The third step

Mix white sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a separate bowl. Coat the peach halves well with the sugar mixture and sprinkle with the mixture as well. I leave it aside.

The fourth step

On a floured surface, roll out thawed puff pastry sheet to about 1/8 inch thick. Squares of dough large enough to wrap each peach half should be cut out of the sheet.

Fifth step

For each meatball, place half a peach in the middle of a piece of dough and fold the sides over the fruit to seal. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and repeat with remaining peach halves.

Sixth step

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. To the melted butter, add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and water and mix until the sugar dissolves.

Step seven

Stir the mixture regularly while it simmers for 5 minutes. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer. Turn off the heat and leave the caramel sauce to cool for a while.

Eighth step

Cover the peach ravioli well with the hot caramel sauce and serve. The meatballs should be golden brown and the peaches tender if you bake them at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Step nine

After removing the meatballs from the oven, let them cool gently before serving.

Step ten

Reheat the Peach Peach Muffins and drizzle each with more caramel sauce before serving. Drizzle a dollop of vanilla ice cream on each meatball for a more comforting touch.
