My husband is from southeast Georgia and this was the first “southern” recipe my mother in law gave me.


*Ingredients

°A 1/4 liter capacity bowl containing pancake mix
°A bowl with a capacity of 1/4 liter containing white cornmeal
°Milk
°Oil

*Preperation


Mixing pancake mix and cornmeal.
Add the milk until the batter is the consistency of pancakes.
Heat thin layer of oil in  pan.
When it is hot, place the dough in the pan as for pancakes.
Spins when the top stops bubbling.
