Barley-beef-soup


INGREDIENTS :

°1 pound boneless chicken roast, trimmed and cut into half of-inch pieces
°1 half of cups thinly sliced carrots
°1 half of cups thinly sliced celery
°2/three cup chopped onion
°1 package deal pre-sliced mushrooms eight ounces
°2 tablespoons beef base 
°eight-10 cups of water
°1 big bay leaf

* DIRECTIONS *

1. Brown beef in nonstick skillet till browned, stirring frequently.
2. Removing red meat to skillet / placing in slow cooker. Add carrot, celery, onion and mushrooms, red meat base, water, garlic and bay leaf.
three. Cook over excessive warmth for one hour, add pearl barley then lessen warmth to low and cook till veggies and beef are tender. Stir in salt and pepper.
4. Discard the bay leaf.
