In skillet, I fried bacon on medium heat to crispy & fried.

To rinse, I cut the bacon and put it on paper towels. I cut it into crumbs.

I mixed the garlic and onion with the bacon drippings and cooked in a saucepan, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, until tender.

After that I quickly added the cabbage and continued to cook for another ten minutes or until softened.

To steam the cabbage, I added the bacon bits on top, 1⁄3 cup water as needed, salt and pepper to taste, onion powder, garlic and paprika.
