Crumbled beef with cream on toast


°8 oz. Beef jerky in a jar cut into pieces
°2 tbsp. Unsalted butter
°2 tbsp. All purpose flour
°1 C. Milk
°½ C. Heavy whipping cream
°Pepper to taste

* Instructions :

Melting butter in skillet or saucepan on medium heat on stove.
Add the flour to the butter and whisk to combine well, cook for a minute or two until the taste of raw flour is gone.
Slowly whisk first the milk, then the heavy whipped cream.
Pepper to taste.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and whisk often to avoid burning.
Once the sauce has thickened to your liking, add the beef to the pan or pot and stir to combine. Bake an additional 3-5 minutes, then serve on toast.
