Homemade Twix Cookies !



These Twix cookies are shortbread rings covered with caramel and milk chocolate. An easy and impressive cookie that tastes better than the popular candy bar!

* Ingredients :

+biscuit:
° 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, soft
° 1 cup powdered sugar
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° 3 cups of flour
° 3/4 teaspoon salt
caramel layer:
° 15 oz bag Caramel Kraft
° 2 tsp evaporated milk
Chocolate layer:
° 2 cups melted Ghirdali chocolate

* Directions :

Preheat oven 350 degrees F .
In a large bowl, add the butter and sugar and use an electric mixer to cream the ingredients together.
Add the vanilla, flour and salt and mix until well combined.
Using a cutting board or counter, add flour to the surface. Roll out the dough until it is 1/2 inch thick.
Using a small circle cookie cutter, cut out the cookies.
Put the parchment paper on the baking tray and place the biscuits on the baking tray. Bake for 14-16 minutes.
Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely.
In a medium saucepan, add the caramel and evaporated milk. Set the heat to medium and stir until melted.
Take a spoon and pour the melted caramel over the biscuit, spreading it from edge to edge to cover the entire surface.
Let the cookie sit until the caramel hardens.
In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips for 30 seconds and repeat as needed.
Spread over cooled caramel tops.
Leave the chocolate before eating and serving.
