HERE ARE ALL THE INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR THIS CROCKPOT CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS:

• ¾ Cups.Of chicken broth.

• 6 small chicken thighs.

• One large sliced carrot.

• One small chopped onion.

• Cream of chicken soup, use the pkg.Of 10 ounces.

• Half a Tsp.Of salt.

• Half a Tsp.Of pepper.

• One bay leaf.

• One Tsp.Of dried parsley.

• Half a Tsp.Of dried rosemary.

• Half a Tsp.Of dried thyme.

• Half a Tsp.Of garlic powder.

• Half a Cup.Of frozen peas.

• Refrigerated biscuit dough/8 large biscuits.

• Chopped parsley just for garnish.

FOLLOW THE STEPS AS DIRECTED BELOW TO MAKE IT :

• Step 1 – Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt and pepper before placing them in the bottom of the crockpot.

• Step 2 – Combine the bay leaf, parsley, rosemary, thyme, and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl.

• Step 3 – In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, carrot, onion, and cream of chicken soup until smooth.

• Step 4 – Using a gentle whisk, mix the ingredients into the sauce without disturbing the chicken. It is not necessary to fully combine the ingredients.

• Step 5 – Cook on high for around 4 hours, or until the chicken is easy to shred and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, in a covered crockpot for 3 hours on low.

• Step 6 – Add the frozen peas and mix well. If you want, you may shred the chicken after preparing it. Stir everything together well.
Open a can of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into four pieces, using a sharp knife.

• Step 7 – Form each biscuit into a ball by rolling it in your hands. Toss the biscuit pieces on top of the rest of the ingredients in the crockpot and set aside.

• Step 8 – Replace the cover, increase the heat to high, and cook the biscuits for about 1 to 2 hours, depending on the size of your crockpot. If at all possible, avoid lifting the lid to check on them. If your container has a glass lid, you can see what's within through the glass.

• Step 9 – When the biscuits are done, they should have a matte appearance. Check if one of the biscuits is fully baked by cutting into it, and taste them and adjust the spices as needed.

Note: If you want, you can cook the biscuits in the oven and then add them at the end; but, since they are cooked in all of the liquids from the meal, they may lose their dumpling feel.
