The Old Fashioned Custard Pie

 



This Old Fashioned Custard Pie is another recipe that you need to have in your pie recipe collection...It’s a classic favorite, yet it's simple to make !! It's made with only a handful of simple ingredients and definitely a keeper !!



TO MAKE THIS RECIPE YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS :



- Unbaked pie shell: 1 (Preferably Marie Callendar’s deep dish)

- Eggs: 3 large 

- Sugar: ½ cup

- Salt: ½ teaspoon

- Nutmeg: ½ teaspoon

- Milk: 2-2/3 cups

- Pure vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon


LET'S MAKE IT :



1. To begin wit, start your ove to preheat to 350 degrees. 



2. Make sure you egges are beaten slightly. You can then add sugar, salt, nutmeg, and milk. 



3. And please beat well. Once done, pour into the unbaked pie shell and bake for 35 to 40 minutes then remove from oven and cool.
 


5. The last step is to sprinkle the top of pie with fresh ground nutmeg and here you're good to go & ENJOY !!!
